In the same presentation, we got details about the Collector’s Edition of Hogwarts Legacy. At $300, this is far from cheap. But, it appears that the Collector’s Edition isn’t just for, well, collectors. Apparently, as per eagle-eyed fans, Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition will also come with an unannounced benefit.
Exclusive quests
Pre-order listings have revealed one more exclusive quest, the “Felix Felici’s potion recipe” quest. The “Hogsmeade Haunted Shop” may refer to the “Shrieking Shack.” This is an abandoned location featured in the movie Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. You can find the listing on the PS5 and Xbox listing of the game. Meanwhile, according to a tweet from Chandler Wood, community manager at Warner Bros. Avalanche, the “Felix Felici’s potion recipe” quest is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 version of the game.

The Collector’s Edition
The most expensive version of Hogwarts Legacy is the Collector’s Edition. This version of the game contains some exclusive in-game rewards as well as memorabilia that owners can display on their shelves. The premium edition of the game comes with the Deluxe version of Hogwarts Legacy and its exclusive Dark Arts Pack. The pack includes the Dark Arts cosmetic set and battle arena. The Dark Arts Pack also includes the Thestral mount for players to use in-game. The mount can only be obtained as a part of this pack. A wearable Kelpie Robe and Dark Arts Garrison Hat are also available as in-game rewards. Players will also get 72-hour early access to the game and have a head start against other muggles. The in-game rewards are also available with the deluxe edition of the game which retails at $79.99. The Collector’s Edition does include exclusive memorabilia that makes it worth the steep price tag. The premium version of the game comes in a Hogwarts Legacy box containing all the items included in the Collector’s Edition. The physical copy of the game includes a custom Hogwarts Legacy steel case with an embossed Hogwarts Sigil. The core of the Collector’s Edition is the replica of a magic wand that floats on top of a spell book. The book and wand are life-sized and would be an awesome display piece for any Harry Potter fan. Portkey Games has recently announced that Hogwarts Legacy’s release date has been pushed back to February 10, 2023. The game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will have a separate launch date later in 2023.
