When is Aloy coming to Genshin Impact?
As a promotional event for Playstation, players will receive Aloy in update 2.2, which is due around October 13, 2021. Players on other platforms will receive Aloy in update 2.3, which is due approximately one month after the Playstation update. Update 2.3 will most likely be released on November 24, 2021.
What are her abilities?
Aloy is the main character in Horizon Zero Dawn and in it, she fights against machines in her world and attempts to find her true identity. According to leaks, Aloy will be a Cryo Bow user in Genshin Impact, similar to Ganyu. She can perform four shots using her bow as a normal attack. Charging her attack will infuse the attack with the Cryo element and make it more powerful.
Her plunging attack allows her to fire arrows mid-air before plunging the ground. Aloy’s elemental skill throws an Ice bomb that will explode and split into many more tiny Ice bombs that will deal damage to enemies coming in contact with it. Any enemy affected by her skill will have their damage reduced. Her elemental burst allows her to throw a Cryo power cell that can be detonated using her bow, spreading Cryo damage in an area.
How to get Aloy in Genshin Impact
Aloy will be a five-star Cryo character in Genshin Impact, and players can get her for free. You do not have to use Primogems or roll for her because she is a promotional character in the game.
Playstation
First and foremost, players should reach adventurer rank 20 to get Aloy in Genshin Impact. Then, during the Horizon Zero Dawn Crossover event on October 13, PlayStation players will get Aloy for free via in-game mail. You will receive Aloy in your mail as long as you are Adventurer Rank 20, there are no other requirements for getting Aloy in Genshin Impact.
Other Platforms
Players on other platforms like PC and mobile will need to wait until November to get Aloy. Unfortunately, the release date of the five-star Cryo character is not the same on all platforms. However. Aloy is completely free! So be sure to reach Adventurer Rank 20 and check your mail to claim her.
