Unfortunately, neither Respawn Entertainment nor Lucasfilm Games revealed a potential release date nor a window for the incoming sequel after confirming it earlier this year.

Thankfully, several insiders have stepped up in the past couple of months to confirm when Jedi: Survivor could come out.

— Grubb (@JeffGrubb) August 19, 2022 Just barely a month after a PSN listing dropped a late February and early March 2023 release date for Jedi: Survivor, Jeff Grubb added to the growing pile of evidence that Jedi: Survivor will indeed be out before the current fiscal year ends. Specifically, Grubb points to the release of Jedi: Battle Scars, which is a tie-in novel. The recently unveiled literary work is going to help bridge the five-year gap between Fallen Order and Survivor. It’s expected to hit bookshelves starting on March 2023, which Grubb believes is the same month that the sequel will also be released. It’s worth noting that Electronic Arts has a “Major IP” and a “Partner Title” slated for Q4 2023, as per its latest earnings report. That date range means anytime between January 1, 2023, and March 31, 2023. Either one could be referring to Survivor. In other Star Wars news, Embracer Group just announced a studio switch for one of its in-development AAA projects. Rumor has it that the Swedish video game holding company is talking about Aspyr Media’s Knights of the Old Republic Remake. We’ll likely know more for sure in an upcoming earnings report. Until then, we’re hoping that it’s true that Cal Kestis is getting his own spin-off TV show.
