Is Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy worth buying?
Is Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy perfect? No, it isn’t. It’s not necessarily good enough to join our list of the best superhero games, but it does make a strong case to get an honorable mention. There are a couple of rough edges that Eidos-Montreal could have sanded out first. Like, for example, the QTEs and Eagle Vision, as well as bullet-sponge enemies. However, if Eidos-Montreal does get a chance to make a sequel, we do not doubt that a follow-up would be near-perfect, especially as the studio has successfully translated the source material’s joyful cast of characters and universe into video game form with enjoyable gameplay to boot. So, should you buy Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy? We think so.
