Roblox Gucci Town is a major tie-in between Roblox and the famous Gucci fashion brand. This would not be the first time. The two companies collaborated on a virtual Gucci Garden experience back in May 2021. Gucci Garden was part of the celebration of Gucci’s 100th anniversary and the House’s Gucci Garden Experience held in Florence, Italy. For 2022, a couple of similar events were envisioned. The first one is the Achille Lauro Superstar featuring Gucci virtual concert. This was held February 26, 2022. This virtual concert had Gucci x Achille Lauro avatar set items available for purchase as merchandise, prizes, and limited exclusive Roblox items.

Players can take part in minigames, accumulate in-game currency called GG Gems, create art pieces, learn about the House of Gucci’s history, and do any number of interactions within the persistent world of Gucci Town. One of the unique aspects of Gucci Town is the limited Gucci branded merchandise. These Roblox in-game merchandise will only be available for a certain period of time. The first batch of exclusive items ran from May 27 to June 17, 2022, which included the Gucci Blondie bag. Other layered clothing for Roblox avatars include Gucci-branded shirts, hats, and pants. Some can be purchased with Robux, while others can be bought with GG Gems. In a recent update, Miley Cyrus was added to the festivities to promote her endorsement of Gucci Beauty’s Flora Gorgeous Jasmine fragrance. Another new update has Billie Eilish with Gucci eyewear featured at the Selfie Way area.
