The response did not go down well with many people who considered it tasteless, especially given the issues Ubisoft has faced over the past two years. Guillemot has since clarified his comments. In a statement released on Twitter by Axios reporter Steven Totilo, Guillemot said: Ubisoft has had to address multiple reports of toxicity within its ranks within the past two years. While the company has made great progress on that front, according to various reports concerns have not been assuaged entirely.
